The Great Lakes of Morvan
To discover from the campsite
6 km away: Lake Pannecière (520 ha), is the largest lake in the Morvan Regional Natural Park. With a maximum length of 13 km, it stretches across four municipalities, including Ouroux en Morvan.
10 km away: Lake Settons (350 ha), located at an altitude of 600 m, is surrounded by fir and larch forests. Lake Settons is held back by a stone dam. Today, a walking trail allows you to go around the lake as close to the water as possible. Since the tour of Lake Settons is relatively flat, you can also do it quite easily by bike during your family outings. The lake has a nautical base where a wide range of activities can be practiced: habitable catamaran, pedal boat, supervised swimming, fishing, as well as certain motorized water activities.
