At the campsite, you will be offered guides and maps of the region to explore the local flora and fauna, and make beautiful hikes.

Tourist documentation on the activities of the Morvan Park and the Nièvre department is at your disposal at the reception. You can complete it at the tourist office Ouroux in Morvan in the village center (600 meters)

Ouroux en Morvan has created a short circuit (2 km – 45 minutes) in the heart of the village: “the circuit of the old agricultural equipment”

The town has a pond of 6 ha rich in carp, pike, and white fish. The banks are furnished for your comfort. To fish there is a communal fishing card.

6 marked trails, from 4 to 20 km. These routes form loops and are based on themes (history, heritage and the environment)

ATV hikes (80 km of marked trails around the town of Ouroux in Morvan).
Professionals of the equestrian activity offer rides with horses, donkeys baited by the day, or over two days, or the week ..

6 km: Lake Pannecière (520 ha), is the largest lake of the Regional Natural Park of Morvan. With a length of 13 km, it extends over four municipalities including Ouroux in Morvan.

10 km: Lake Settons (350 ha), located 600 m above sea level, is surrounded by fir wood and larch. Lake Settons is retained by a stone dike. Today, a pedestrian path allows to go around the lake (15km) closer to the water. The tour of Settons Lake being relatively flat, you can also do it quite easily by bike during your family outings. The lake has a nautical base where it is possible to practice a large number of activities: catamaran, pedal boat, supervised swimming, fishing and some motorized water activities …

“House of Men and Landscapes”: you will travel through the history of the Morvan in an original and interactive way and the evolution of the daily life of the inhabitants, know-how and relations with the environment …

The Museum of the Resistance: It allows to discover the role and the importance of the Resistance in this region of Burgundy during the Second World War. A privileged zone for the establishment of the maquis, the Morvan was a safe haven for all those who sought to escape the repression and wanted to continue the struggle. It evokes the Morvan Resistance. Numerous documents, archives, photographs and war materials illustrate the visit.

Costume Museum: Since 1992, the mansion house has housed an important collection of rich costumes of some 5,000 items. On a surface of 1500 m2, one can discover the various evolutions of the French fashion between the end of the 18th century and the middle of the 20th century.

Musée du septennat by François Mitterrand: The Septennat Museum, housed in the former convent of St. Clare built in the 18th century, opened in 1986.
